Chief development officer Jayson Tipp says the area could support 35 or 40 stores within the next five years.
Over the past year and a half, according to chief development officer Jayson Tipp, Papa Murphy's has placed a greater emphasis on the Little Rock area. Currently, there are four units in development in the market.
“Our short-term target over the next three to five years is to get Little Rock to 20 stores,” Tipp said. “We might get all the way there in less than five years. Long-term, if Little Rock ends up being as strong for us as our most mature markets in the Pacific Northwest, we could have 35 or 40 stores in Little Rock.”
Papa Murphy's sees plenty of real estate opportunities for Little Rock along with a strong workforce with ample advertising and media avenues to help promote the brand.
“Little Rock is what we call a focused-development market for us now," said Tipp.
