Charleston Gazette-Mail: Leading Pizza Franchise Targets West Virginia for Development
Papa Murphy's plans to open four stores in the area over the next one to three years.

Papa Murphy's is planning to expand into Southern West Virginia with a focus on opening four more stores within the next one to three years.

“We’re looking forward to partnering with the right people to help us develop the brand in the area,” Gary Payne, vice president of franchise sales for the company, told the Charleston Gazette-Mail. “So we’re excited, but there’s still a lot of work to do.”

The article provided background on the company with a focus on the unique Take 'N' Bake concept.

“Our brand is our take-and-bake product,” Payne told the Charleston Gazette-Mail. “We don’t cook it in the store. We don’t have any microwaves or ovens there, so we are pretty different from other pizza chains.”
